Mint Pass

Introduction

In CTA, there are 6 Mint Passes:

  • Red Mint Pass

  • Green Mint Pass

  • Blue Mint Pass

  • Legacy Mint Pass

  • Golden Mint Pass

  • Golden Legacy Mint Pass

The player can lock CTA Tokens into them and thus activate their perks/advantages.

A Mint Pass has two statuses: Charged or Discharged.

To activate its effects, it must be charged to at least stage 1.

What are Mint Passes used for?

Effect #1: Reduced transaction fees on the CTA Marketplace

Items like CTA cards are available on multiple marketplaces such as IMX, Rarible, TokenTrove, Aqua, and many others. This represents savings of up to 2% on trades if both the seller and the buyer have a mint pass.

Effect #2: Exclusive access to the presale of a TCG season

For each new TCG season, Mint Pass holders receive a ticket based on the type of Mint Pass they own, granting them access to the presale of the new collection.

It will now be mandatory to own a Mint Pass to access these presales.

If you do not wish to participate in the presale, you can exchange it for free for SR cards only available during the presale.

You can also sell this ticket on the secondary market.

Effect #3: SR card airdrop

Once charged, Mint Passes allow you to receive SR cards provided enough weekly Victory Points are achieved. If these two conditions are met, a guaranteed SR airdrop is made every week, the quantity of which depends on the level of the mint pass charge.

  • Red Mint Pass: 1 charge tier = 1 card

  • Green Mint Pass: 2 charge tiers = 2 cards

  • Blue Mint Pass: 4 charge tiers = 4 cards

  • Legacy Mint Pass: 7 charge tiers = 7 cards

  • Golden Mint Pass: 7 charge tiers = 7 cards including 2 guaranteed foils

  • Golden Legacy Mint Pass: 7 charge tiers = 7 guaranteed foil cards

Note that a pool will also be available in the future allowing players to stake tokens to obtain, without a Mint Pass, the remaining SRs from the supply. However, this pool does not guarantee the drop of SRs.

For a supply of 100,000 SRs, it allows obtaining a maximum of 10,000 (100,000 / 2 - 40,000) SRs each week. As long as the pool is not full, an SR can be obtained for double the price of a mint pass charge stage (in USD).

However, if it exceeds 10,000 x double the charge price, then the price per SR will increase proportionally.

The pool lock is 7 days compared to the mint pass, which represents a lock of up to 13 weeks.

Example with a charge of $375:

  • If $7,500,000 USD or less is staked in the pool, an SR will be dropped for every $750 USD in CTA tokens staked.

  • If $15,000,000 USD in tokens is staked in the pool, an SR will be dropped for every $1,500 USD in CTA tokens staked.

  • If $60,000,000 USD in tokens is staked in the pool, an SR will be dropped for every $6,000 USD in CTA tokens staked.

Effect #4: Passive "Victory Points" Generation

Mint Passes allow for the passive generation of "Victory Points" based on the type of Mint Pass, thereby reducing the amount of gameplay required to obtain the benefits.

Effect #5: Dedicated Access at CTA Events

During future physical CTA events, dedicated access based on your Mint Pass will be reserved for you. This might be a unique opportunity to meet the authors, artists, and CTA team members.

Effect #6: SR Module Airdrop in Arise

Similar to obtaining SR cards for the TCG, an airdrop of SR modules will also be available upon the release of Arise. Further details will be added later.

Effect #7: Land

Mint Passes are the only way to obtain "Land Access" tickets or slots in the lottery to prioritize their purchase.

  • Red Mint Pass: 2 slots to participate in the lottery.

  • Green Mint Pass: 5 slots to participate in the lottery.

  • Blue Mint Pass: 10 slots to participate in the lottery.

  • Legacy Mint Pass: Land Access Level 2.

  • Golden Mint Pass: Land Access Level 3 or Level 4.

  • Golden Legacy Mint Pass: Land Access Level 5.

How to get a Mint Pass?

To have a Mint Pass, you can do so in two ways:
